We use the highest quality materials in our mattresses a layer of supportive high density reflex foam and a layer of comfortable memory foam all wrapped up in a zip off, quilted cover. Memory foam is different to other mattress materials. When you climb onto a sprung mattress, your weight compresses the springs. When a spring is compressed it will always try and push back to its original shape as quickly as possible. This means the springs push back against your body, leading to pressure points. This leads to aches and pains and poor sleep.
With memory foam pressure points are eliminated. This is because memory foam doesn’t react in a same way to springs when you lie on it. Of course, your body pushes down on memory foam in the same way as on a regular mattress. But the difference with memory foam is that it doesn’t push back. Your body softens the foam meaning that the foam simply gives way to your weight. This eliminates pressure points. And the beauty is this softening is dynamic and responds perfectly to your body shape. Where your body presses down the hardest is where the memory foam softens the most.
