Dust mites find it very hard to live in the visco elastic material because of the tiny pores in the material. Toppers are great if you have a fairly new sprung mattress to place them on. If you have recently bought a sprung mattress and are not happy with the level of comfort it offers or if you have only recently heard about memory foam then a topper is a great way to make your sleep more comfortable without having to pay for a whole new mattress again. If you have a very old and worn mattress though we suggest that you go for a foam mattress rather than a foam topper. An old mattress simply won’t offer the level of support needed to provide you with a good night’s sleep.
